Tanya Bevan - Biography

Tanya's first experience in front of the camera was as a toddler featured in promotional materials for a day care center. She attended high school at the Walkerville Centre for the Creative Arts in Windsor, Ontario and graduated with academic honors and as a 'triple threat' performer. She continued her education earning a diploma in Dance from George Brown College, Toronto Ontario. Her most memorable stage performance was as 'Bombalurina' in the musical CATS. She spent a year dancing with the Toronto Argonauts 'Dance Pack' and lived in Morocco for time dancing professionally. Tanya's first Toronto feature film experience was as Prom Queen Jennifer in The Rocker (2008) starring Rainn Wilson, Christina Applegate, and Emma Stone. She's earned credits along-side Alexz Johnson and Laura Vandervoort Ma vie de star (2004), Ephraim Ellis Family Biz (2009), Evan Williams and Holly Deveaux Baxter (2010). Most recently, Tanya appeared as Carla Coyle in the horror film The Scarehouse (2014) and as Fara/Stacee in the SiFi Beyond the Deep (2014) - both features were filmed in her hometown of Windsor, Ontario.
