Tenika Davis - Biography

Tenika Davis was born July 16 in Toronto, Canada and raised in the small town of Newmarket, Ontario. When she was 10 years old, Tenika discovered a keen interest in public speaking and the performing arts it is at this point she began competing in various public speaking competitions where she began developing and refining her confidence in front of audiences. It was also at this age that Tenika began intensive training in the highly disciplined martial art of Taekwondo, almost instantly she excelled and began competing at a national level, earning numerous gold metals, trophies and awards for her outstanding abilities. Not only did her training provide an excellent outlet for the enthusiastic and energetic youngster, it would also prove to be a fortunate precursor for the start of her professional acting career. Tenika Davis began her career as one of the finalists on the first season of the famed reality TV series "Canada's Next Top Model". After completing the show she signed with world-renowned top modeling agency Ford Models. Tenika's talent, determination and hard work allowed her to land her first lead role in the indie hit, "Jumping the Broom" alongside Angela Bassett, Paula Patton, Loretta Devine, Meagan Good amongst many others well known talent. Almost immediately after she was cast as Sara Suarez, the seductive action heroine in the successful Wrong Turn 4, movie franchise. Tenika has had the privilege to be involved in blockbuster films and act with major actors, actresses, directors and producers at a pace that very few young professionals have experienced.
