Teri was born in Northern California, has lived in Houston, Texas, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Santa Barbara, San Diego, and now resides in Los Angeles, California with her dog Willow.
She was inspired to be an actress as a young girl watching Katharine Hepburn in 'The Philadelphia Story', but was afraid to pursue a career in the field. Originally a math major at UC Santa Barbara, she auditioned for the acting program on a whim, got in, and her fate was forever changed.
Teri studied to be an actress in the BFA program at UC Santa Barbara and the MFA program at UC San Diego.
She is now Managing Director of the Ovation Award winning Chalk Repertory Theatre, started by fellow UCSD MFA alumni, where she frequently appears in stage productions
She is a lover of black coffee, yoga, and holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Romulo Barral for which she trains almost every day.
