THOMAS GOERSCH - Biography

Thomas Goersch grew up with his two brothers in Hofgeismar (Kassel), Waldkirch in Freiburg and Stuttgart, Germany. He completed a banking apprenticeship and studied economics and banking law until 1999, when he ventured into the film industry, working as a screenwriter and actor. Since 2000, he has starred in over 200 films, including long-standing collaborations with directors Carl Andersen (2001-2012), Maria Dora (2004-2015) and Malga Kubiak (since 2001). His films have received awards in Poland, Sweden, France and the United States. In 2013, he began working as a director.



In addition his work in front and behind the camera, Thomas has performed as a successful narrator for radio. He narrated the comedy series "Beauty Palais," which ran in four countries on 24 radio stations. He has done voice over for numerous television documentaries, including L.B. Hyams' Memoir of a Cannibal.



From 2001 until 2008, Thomas was co-editor of and radio host for a club magazine, and since 2006 he has been managing the theater agency Kreativepool Germany. As a food expert on the Shopping Canal 1-2-3.tv, he has presented his long-standing show "Goersch's Gourmet Buffet" since 2013, informing viewers about gastronomic delicacies and exclusive fine wines.
