Thyme Lewis - Biography

Thyme Lewis is an American actor, producer and stuntman who sizzled into the spotlight for his six year portrayal of Jonah Carver on the award winning episodic, Days of Our Lives.

Thyme is fifth generation Californian and was born in San Francisco June 13th to his mother, socialite runaway Heidi McGurrin and legend jazz drummer Art Lewis. He spent his childhood school years on the coast of Big Sur with his two siblings Winona and Alistair riding motorcycles and horses and his summers touring with his fathers' band in New York. He is the great grandnephew of Albert Gallatin, who built the Victorian Governor's mansion in Sacramento and grand nephew of Frank Powers, founder of Carmel by the Sea. He is also grandnephew to Lolly and Bill Fassett who founded Nepenthe Restaurant in Big Sur.

He discovered his love for acting while in college and added film classes to his business academics. He quickly sizzled from modeling contracts into Hollywood fame as Jonah Carver on the episodic Days of Our Lives.

As a producer, Thyme's focus is on script development, financing and securing distribution. Under his leadership, he produces feature films with Switzer Entertainment, Red Thread Pictures and Future World Media.

Thyme's talents have included stunts for Sons of Anarchy with Eric Norris, a Mercedes Benz campaign with Wade Eastwood and continual work with talented stunt coordinators and directors in film and television.

Thyme resides between his self built home in Carmel by the Sea and Marina Del Rey, California. He is of Norwegian, Scottish, Irish, Haitian and Native American Indian descent.
