Tim Kazurinsky - Biography

Tim Kazurinsky is an American actor and screenwriter known for his tenure as both a writer and featured player on Saturday Night Live (1981-1984) and for his role as Officer Sweetchuck in the Police Academy film series. His screen writing credits include both TV and film, most notably "About Last Night..."(1986) and "For Keeps?" (1988). Kazurinsky's screenplay for the film "Strange Relations" earned him BAFTA and WGA nominations.

A mainstay of the Chicago theatre scene, Kazurinsky spent time as a member of The Second City. He has twice been nominated for the prestigious Joseph Jefferson Award for his performances. Kazurinsky toured the United States as the Wonderful Wizard of Oz in the hit musical, "Wicked."

Kazurinsky resides in Chicago with his family.
