Tom O'Brien is an actor/writer/director. Tom's first feature, Fairhaven, premiered at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival where it was bought for distribution and released to stellar reviews in January of 2013. Fairhaven was a New York Times Critics Pick. Stephen Holden called it "A beautifully acted directed and edited slice of New England life".
Tom's second feature, Manhattan Romance, stars, Katherine Waterston (Inherent Vice, Fantastic Beasts) as well as, Caitlin FitzGerald (Masters of Sex) and Gaby Hoffman (Girls, Transparent) was released theatrically and on VOD in October 2015. Tom is also the co-creator, writer/director of the critically acclaimed online series, OM City. OM City was a critics pick in the New York Times.
Before becoming a filmmaker Tom was a produced and published playwright as well as a founding member of the New York theater company, All Seasons Theater Group.
