Australian actor Travis Burns was born and raised in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, Australia. His Mother is a hairdresser and his father a tradesman. Travis has one sister and two nephews. His ancestry includes English and German but he is 100% Australian.
Always having a strong interest in athletics while growing up, Travis played and excelled in basketball, football, baseball and swimming. His love of adventure and the ocean steered him to study and become an advance open water driver, specializing in photography, navigational diving, equipment specialist and rescue diving specialist.
Graduating in 2008 at Bacchus Marsh College he was invited to attend PIC [Photographic Imaging College] where he studied for 2 years, graduating with a Bachelors of Photographic Imaging.
Travis scored his first role on an American action, drama series "SAF3" on the CW network. Travis booked a series regular on the soap opera Neighbours (1985) playing "Tyler Brennan".
