Troi Zee - Biography

Troi Zee's acting career began at age 3 with The Children's Theatre Company in New York City. Additional credits include Sesame Street, PBS Kids, Reading Rainbow, Nickelodeon and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. In 2010 Troi appeared in the role of "Ngana" in the national touring company of Lincoln Center's Tony Award winning production of South Pacific; and in 2012 she completed the role of "Maya" in the independent film 1982, directed by Tommy Oliver,alongside legendary actor Ruby Dee and contemporary actor and author Hill Harper. In the same year Troi launched her career as a singer/songwriter and worked with noted R&B singer and producer, Angela Johnson, for her debut EP of original music titled, "Brooklyn Girl". This spring Troi inked a deal with Purpose Music Group, the label that will release "Brooklyn Girl" this summer. Troi has twice performed before more than 5,000 fans at Affinity Health Plan's charitable Easter celebration in New York City as well as other charitable events hosted by Tuesday's Children and the Make The Grade Foundation.
