Tyler Young was born and raised in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago.
He is set to star in the upcoming USA Network drama series, Eyewitness, directed by Catherine Hardwicke and executive produced by Adi Hasak. He will portray the character, Philip O'Brien, alongside Julianne Nicholson, who is cast as his foster mom, Helen.
Upon discovering his passion for acting at an early age, Tyler performed in numerous theater productions. Looking to make a career as a performer, Tyler acquired agency representation and has had the privilege of training with some of Chicago's finest institutions including Acting Studio Chicago, The Second City and The Theatre School at DePaul University, to name a few.
Tyler starred on the youth targeted sitcom, 'The Avatars', which airs on Disney Channel and RAI in Italy, Kika in Germany, Megamax TV in Eastern & Central Europe, and other major networks across the globe. He also appears in episode 111 of FOX's hit series, Empire, and on episode 309 of NBC's Chicago Fire.
