Vivi Pineda is an American actress born in Cartagena, Colombia. She is the daughter of Graciela Gomez (registered nurse) and David Pineda (neurologist). Although both of her parents were born in Colombia, Vivi is also of Curacao, Spanish and German descent from her grandparents (maternal). In the mid 80's Vivi and her mother moved to Miami where she was raised. Vivi graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in International Finance & Marketing. She has worked in retail as a junior buyer for one of the largest department stores in the nation. Vivi also worked in real estate; in 2004 the broker of Fisher Island recruited her to work at the prestigious private island where she sold both new construction and existing homes at this exclusive community. In 2009 Vivi decided to pursue her passion and focused her attention on a career in acting. Since then she has appeared in numerous national commercials, independent films, television shows and studio films. She is an actress known for Pain & Gain (2013), Rock of Ages (2012), Convergence (2015) and The First (2014).
