Wayne Hope - Biography

Wayne Hope is an actor, writer, director and producer at Gristmill, the acclaimed production company he founded with his wife, Robyn Butler. As an actor, Wayne has appeared in iconic comedies, Une maison de rêve (1997), The Micallef Program (1998), and Very Small Business (2008), which Wayne also co-wrote and produced. Wayne also co-created, produced and directed the celebrated and award winning comedies, The Librarians (2007) and Upper Middle Bogan (2013) for ABC TV. One of Australia's most accomplished and prolific comedy directors, Wayne has just directed and produced Gristmill's first feature film, Now Add Honey (2015), which is due for release in 2015 and Little Lunch (2015), a mockumentary series for ABC3, which he also co-created and produced.
