Zee James was born and raised in Tupelo, Mississippi, the hometown of Elvis Presley. Being a performer has always been her destiny. She's more than a pretty face and is exceptionally skilled as a stunt performer. As an actress, Zee has appeared in Think Like A Man Too, Life Partners and Epic Movie. As a stunt performer, her work has been featured in, How To Get Away With Murder, Scandal, Ride Along, Real Husbands of Hollywood, Mom, Perception, Sam & Cat, Dead Tone and America's Most Wanted. Most recently, Zee showcased both skill sets in the Dr. Dre and Ice Cube produced biopic, Straight Outta Compton. Initially, Zee made her mark in the role of adult 'Tonya' on the syndicated hit comedy, Everybody Hates Chris. Zee's performance, comedic timing and easy going demeanor endeared her to audiences, turning what was meant to be a one-time co-starring role into a recurring role. After graduating early from Tupelo High School, Zee attended the University of Mississippi before traveling to Los Angeles with the five hundred dollars her father slipped into her hand so that she might pursue her dream of being an entertainer. Appreciating the importance of education, Zee attended Long Beach State University on a track and field scholarship and received her Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Merchandising. Zee has appeared in over ten National Commercials including American Airlines, Microsoft, Coors Light and Exxon Mobil and she is currently featured in McDonald's latest campaign: Our Food.
