Zoe Cleland - Biography

Zoe Cleland is a Canadian actress. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Zoe showed her talent from a very early age. She began performing on stage as a child and landed her first on-camera role by the age of fifteen. At seventeen, she was chosen as one of twelve actors across the country to attend the National Theatre School, Canada's leading conservatory training program. Zoe is the youngest actor ever to attend the school.

Since graduating in 2012, Zoe has had recurring roles in Reign (CW network) and Guidance (Bite TV). She has also guest starred on hit shows Murdoch Mysteries (CBC) and Saving Hope (CTV). Zoe was awarded the Theatre Centre Emerging Artist Award by the Summerworks Festival for her performance in girls!girls!girls! in August 2013. She was recently featured in Jeremy Lalonde's new film How to Plan an Orgy in a Small Town, in which she plays a young Jewel Staite opposite Lauren Holly. The film has been touring film festivals across Canada, and is scheduled to have its US premiere at the Slamdance Festival in 2016.
