Anne Lockhart was born Anne Kathleen Maloney on September 6, 1953 in and grew up in Brentwood, California, USA. Anne Lockhart is one of very few actresses who can look back 100 years to trace her roots. Born in New York City to one of the theatre's leading families, Anne is the fourth generation of performers to carry the Lockhart name. She follows great-grandfather John Coates Lockhart, grandparents Gene Lockhart and Kathleen Lockhart, and her mother June Lockhart, best known for her years on the television series Lassie (1954) and Perdus dans l'espace (1965). She appeared on over sixty television series, including Magnum (1980), L'homme qui tombe à pic (1981), Simon et Simon (1981), K 2000 (1982), Arabesque (1984) and Diagnostic: meurtre (1993). In 1979, she appeared as Lieutenant Sheba in eleven episodes of Galactica (1978) and the episode "A Dream of Jennifer" from Buck Rogers (1979).
